The book in 2026. The app in 2027.

The Pet Passport is the precursor to the TailVault app, planned for 2027. Imagine the essentials of your companion’s care, together and close at hand: one record designed to follow your animal across clinics and through life. That is the vision behind TailVault. The owner app is intended to be free at launch, with a complementary portal for participating veterinary clinics, connecting thoughtful organisation with a more supported caregiving experience.

More connected care. More confidence for every chapter.

The planned app brings together health records, timely care reminders, medication and weight tracking, insurance-claim support, payment links, and information about financial assistance. For participating clinics, the vision includes simpler pre-visit forms, owner-approved record sharing, and claim-ready invoices—helping people spend less energy piecing information together and more attention on the animal at the centre of it all.

Readers interested in the 2027 app can contact tailvault@drofwhat.ca to ask about future updates. A dedicated early-access signup will be shared when available. Planned for 2027; features and timing may evolve during development.

The EBVEF connection

TailVault reflects an empathy-based design goal: supporting the people responsible for care so the animal’s individual needs, history, and wellbeing remain central. It connects practical record-keeping with compassionate responsibility across a companion’s life.

The need behind the invention.

Every innovation has a context: a problem observed, an animal whose needs matter, and people working to deliver care. This portfolio will tell that story alongside the technical record.
